Electric Bicycle Can Definitely Be An Exercise Tool to Help For Stroke Prevention

The globally respected Mayo Clinic was an interesting article on its website on the prevention of stroke that contained the bicycle as an aerobic exercise recommended to reduce the risk of stroke

 This article made me think of how realistic people involved in aerobic exercise that will continue to participate and not to get discouraged and quit. The logical answer was the electric bike.

We have all heard of ways to reduce the risk of stroke:


No smoke or use illegal drugs;
Beba alcohol in moderation or not at all;
-Consume Many fruits and vegetables;
Obtain and maintain a diabetes weight and healthy controls;
Reduce the amount of saturated fat and cholesterol you eat;
-control of hypertension; and
-Exercise Regular.


It is to exercise regularly, I would like to emphasize in this article. Not only exercise, but aerobic exercise reduces the risk of stroke in many ways. Aerobic exercise can lower blood pressure, increase your level of high density lipoprotein (HDL or "good cholesterol"), and improve the overall health of blood vessels and heart. This exercise in turn helps you lose weight, control diabetes and reduce stress.


 The Mayo Clinic recommends working gradually up to 30 minutes of activity - such as walking, jogging, swimming or bicycling - on most, if not all, days of the week.

This is aggressive for someone not used to an exercise regime and especially not used to the challenge of aerobic exercise. Here it is where I think an electric bike can really come into play. Each person is very different in establishing an exercise routine that works the way habits and goals are set. Some people need very detailed kinds of plans announced for the year, certain days and times, and methods for tracking results. 


 Others must be flexible and just set an overall goal for the week and they achieve the results they need without all the specific characteristics previously set. Whatever type of person, the same success is based on a variety of cycling, walking or swimming, to achieve 30 minutes of aerobic exercise, 4-5 days a week.

It can be very intimidating to think about going for a 15 minute ride bike and then think how intimidating 30-minute walk seems the inexperienced rider. The electric bicycle can offer a solution and make it easier to perform and fun task.  


If a person knows the exercise, of course, they will be more likely to continue exercising. The electric bicycle generally has three options for the driver: simply pedal; assisted pedaling; and just riding. Maybe a timetable could be walking and cycling over two days.

 The electric bike gives you three options and provides assurance that if you get tired, you get home. Also, if you are at all concerned about his health, e-bike gives the back-up so you do not have to worry about health problems. No pain, no gain can be reinvented with the electric bike less pain all gain!
